The closing ceremonies were yesterday, apparently! I say “apparently” because since I stream tv through my XboX, I didn’t get a chance to see either the opening or the closing ceremony. However, I didn’t let that stop me from competing in this year’s Ravellenics! This was my first year as well.
How did I do?
Welll….I didn’t “place” since my Swallowtail Shawl is nowhere near finished. But that’s okay! I didn’t really expect to finish my first lace shawl in two weeks. I have gotten sucked into knitting on it all the time, which means I’ve let my other WIPs languish. I’m hoping to fix that today.
I’m finished with the toe increases on the SGT’s Tripping the Riff socks and need to work on the foot/leg chart. I was hoping to load them into Knit Companion (I love this app!) this weekend but the files I have are .jpgs, which Knit Companion doesn’t read. Converting them to a .pdf is easy, it’s just getting around to it that’s the problem. But I got ahead on the chores this weekend so that leaves me free to just knit and knit and knit!
