It seems like ages ago, I blogged about the swatchI made for this cardigan. I’ve made very slow progress on it since then. The directions state (after casting on) to knit in plain stockinette for 12″. Did I mention that this is done in one piece? So my rows are LONG.

It’s been slow progress but I’m glad I have some TV knitting on my needles. I’m almost finished with my socks, actually so the next few days will be the big push to finish them off in time for Friday.

It’s Wendnesday so head on over to Tami’s and see what the blogosphere is working on.

  1. Wow. That’s a lot of stockinette :) .

  2. Your sweater is looking good, how many inches do you have left to make 12 inches?

  3. Oh boy, 12″ is a long ways to go. I know you’ll whip through it tho. Then you can watch your fave TV shoes and knit w/out worrying.

  4. Gorgeous pattern. You’ll love it once it’s finished!

  5. Long rows are long. I feel your pain ;)

    Love the colour :)

  6. Every so often, I crave long rows of stockinette. Maybe not 12″ worth, but still… It’s nice to have some good TV knitting. The yarn is so pretty, I can’t wait to see how it works up. Have fun!

  7. Your sweater is coming right along. I love the color. The rows are long but what great TV knitting:)
