This is my third WIP Wednesday entry for the Seagrass socks. It really feels like socks take me a month or more to make. Ah well, this time when I’m finished, I’ll have a pair. So what’s new with these? Well one of the socks has a heel!

What a heel! (teehee!)
Heel cup is finished and all wraps have been worked. I’m almost done decreasing and will soon be working on the second sock’s heel. I’m debating how tall I want these socks to be. I usually wear ankle socks but there’s not much to show off to people when they’re that short. Then again, I rarely get to show my socks to anyone because people rarely ask! Sometimes I wish I had a sign on me that said “Ask me about my knitting”. Ah well, be careful what you wish for and all that.

How about a pin that says “Ask me about my knitting”? You could wear it when you’re in the mood to strut your stuff
.
I know the feeling. The only people who ever ask me about my knitting are those who already know that I do so, and even then it’s not super often. Beautiful socks!
They are looking great. And I agree with the others, I make people look at my socks. It is possible it leads to them thinking I am a mad woman, but handknit socks are totally awesome
I’m with Nat, I also stick my foot in peoples faces and demand that they admire my socks
You’re making great progress, they’ll be done soon enough
It doesn’t matter how long it takes to make them. Just keep at it and eventually they’ll be done. I love the color!
I don’t wait for people to ask – I proudly stick my foot in front of them and tell them to check out my awesome socks
