Well the title alone is a lie. I think it’s safe to say that this blog (and my skills) are firmly skewed towards knitting. I do dabble in other crafts (like painting, embroidery, sewing and rarely crochet) but I’m firmly a knitter. I’m really enjoying my latent painting talents and I want to try sewing more things but I just enjoy the ease and portability of my knitting. I also feel far more confident in my knitting ability than any other craft.
I do realize that the only way to improve is to sew/paint more but those two crafts aren’t as forgiving as knitting or crochet. Poor crochet is rather neglected by me. In all honesty, I don’t like the way most crochet garments and accessories look. I like some crochet blankets and amigurumi but that’s about it. Granny squares are nice but they really aren’t my cup of tea.
And so, I will cast aside any feelings of guilt and embrace my (mostly) knitting monogamous ways. I’ll paint and sew and embroider and crochet when I feel like it. If I don’t feel like it, that’s okay too!

I agree – why feel guilty? You are doing a craft you enjoy and doing it well!
I need 56 hours in a day to do all the crafty things I’d like to do. I’ll settle for what I can. Don’t feel guilty for mostly just knitting, especially when you knit as beautifully as you do!
Totally… no guilt allowed! You shouldn’t have to do a craft often just because you can do it!
