I whipped this little guy up in about two hours.
- Over the river and through the tree?
This was another kit that I picked up at the local Big Box Craft Store. It came with the floss, fabric, the mat, glass and the stand and clip. It’s about 5″ by 5″ so it was a really small piece to embroider. I have a short stitching attention span so that was just perfect for me. It’s up on my mantel and brings me tons of joy.
Speaking of joy, it’s been great to be at my old house. Though it is quite strange to walk around my old neighborhood and see what’s changed. I only left 8 months ago but it might as well be many years. Things just look very different and not always in a good way. It’s really made me feel like we did the right thing by moving. But it has been great to spend time with my mom, my sister and my brother. I’m slowly catching up with friends and that’s always a good thing.

Yeah, our neighborhood has changed a lot for the worse in the last year too. The economy seems to be a big part of it.
