I borrowed my sister’s digital camera and am now learning the ways of Photoshop. Here are photos of my first pair of socks. I made them in August 2009 out of Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn. They’re just plain ol’ vanilla socks. I think I got the pattern from knitting.about.com but I can’t be totally sure. What I love about these socks is that they are superwash! I’ve washed and dried them in the machine and they’ve come out perfectly, if a little faded. They are the warmest socks I own. I can’t recommend Cherry Tree Hill enough. These were knit on size 2 needles.

There’s something really satisfying about wearing a pair of socks that were made especially for your feet. It’s like my feet have been given a big hug.
